What you are purchasing
The Story Emporium offers books, stories, digital materials, personalized experiences, custom creations, celebrations, events, and other story-centered products and services. The description, price, included features, delivery method, and any offering-specific terms shown on the product page or at checkout are part of your purchase.
Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, prices are stated and charged in U.S. dollars. Story Emporium offerings are not therapy, counseling, medical care, or professional advice.
Payment and creation
Payment is due as stated at checkout and, for custom work, may be required before creation begins. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information and responding to necessary follow-up questions. We may pause creation or delivery while essential information is incomplete.
Delivery and timing
Delivery method and estimated timing vary by offering and will be stated on the product page, proposal, order confirmation, or checkout. Digital products may be delivered electronically. Physical products may require shipping. Custom experiences or events may require scheduling and collaboration. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will contact you using the information provided with the order.
Cancellations, refunds, and adjustments
Because Story Emporium offerings range from ready-made books to deeply customized experiences, cancellation and refund terms may differ. The terms shown for the specific offering at the time of purchase govern that order.
- Ready-made items may be returned or refunded only as stated on their product page or at checkout.
- Custom work may become nonrefundable after creation begins, materials are ordered, reservations are made, or another stated milestone is reached.
- If a delivered item reasonably needs correction or arrives damaged or incomplete, contact us promptly so we can review the concern and make an appropriate adjustment.
These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived in your location.
Events, activities, and participation
You decide whether an activity or event is appropriate for your circumstances. Use reasonable judgment and follow applicable safety rules, laws, venue requirements, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, and personal boundaries. Participants may skip or adapt suggestions. Additional event-specific terms may be provided in a proposal or agreement.
Personal use and intellectual property
Unless an offering expressly grants broader rights, purchased stories, digital materials, and custom experiences are licensed for the personal use of their intended recipient or participants. You may not resell, publish, reproduce for commercial use, or distribute them as your own product without written permission. All other site content, designs, writing, images, and materials remain the property of Your Wellness Sherpa LLC or their respective rights holders.
Third-party services and destinations
The Story Emporium may link to separately operated services, payment providers, booksellers, social platforms, venues, or affiliated Story Emporium destinations. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you use those services.
